Enrollment and Degree Verification

Enrollment Verification for Students

The University of Montevallo has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse to handle all requests for degree verification and current enrollment verifications. There is no charge for an enrollment verification for currently enrolled students.

Current Students

For current students, you may locate this information in the following manner:

  • Sign into Banner Self-Service.
  • Click on Student then Student Profile.
  • Click on Current Student Enrollment Verification at the bottom of the menu to begin the process.

Alumni/Former Students

For alumni or former students, you can verify previous enrollment and degrees earned via Myhub after creating your one-time account. For any issues with your Myhub account, you can reach out to their customer service by email at service@studentclearinghouse.org or by telephone at (703) 742-4200.

Loan Deferment Request

Students should refer lender(s) to the National Student Clearinghouse for enrollment verification. Loan deferment request forms are provided by the lender(s). For issues pertaining to loan reporting, contact the National Student Clearinghouse at (703) 742-7791.

If the lender(s) requires a loan deferment request form, then students should submit their form to the Registrar’s Office only after they have signed and completed the appropriate sections.

Third Party Degree Verification

You may request this information directly from National Student Clearinghouse 24 hours a day or by telephone at (703) 742-4200 or via Fax to (703) 742-7792. Customer service contact hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please be aware that there is a service fee to verify a degree.
