Congratulations on your acceptance to UM!

Welcome to the Montevallo family! We are excited to meet you at Orientation! All new UM students must attend an Orientation session in order to register for their classes. After accepting their offer of admission, students can register for Orientation in their application status portal. We have three goals for your Orientation day:

1. To answer all of your questions
2. To assist you as you select and register for your classes, and;
3. For you to leave excited to return for your first semester at UM!

Spring Semester Orientation

New Freshman and Transfer students who are admitted for the Spring 2026 semester must attend Spring Semester Orientation. The two Orientation options are December 5, 2025 and January 6, 2026. Registration for these dates is now open in your application status portal.

2026 Freshman Orientation

Freshman Orientation sessions are held in June and July for new Freshman students in enrolling for Fall 2026. All new students must attend an Orientation in order to register for their classes. Freshman Orientation Registration will open in February in your application status portal.

2026 Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation sessions are held in June and July for new transfer students enrolling for Fall 2026. All new students must attend an Orientation in order to register for their classes. Transfer Orientation Registration will open in February in your application status portal.
