the University of Montevallo!
Welcome to the Montevallo family! We are excited to meet you at Orientation! All new UM students must attend an Orientation session in order to register for their classes. We have three goals for your Orientation day:
- To answer all of your questions
- To assist you as you select and register for your classes, and;
- For you to leave excited to return for your first semester at UM!
2024 Spring Semester Orientation
For all new students beginning school in January 2024
There will be two Orientation dates available for students starting school in the Spring Semester, one in December and one in January. These dates will be available soon, and orientation registration will open in October.
2024 Freshman Orientation
For all new freshman students beginning school in August 2024
Freshman Orientation dates for April, June, and July 2024 will be available soon, and orientation registration will open in February. Please check back for additional information.
2024 Transfer Orientation
For all new transfer students beginning school in August 2024
Transfer Orientation dates for June and July 2024 will be available soon, and orientation registration will open in February. Please check back for additional information.
