Summer School Orientation

New students enrolling in Summer 2026

All incoming UM students must participate in an orientation session in order to register for their classes. If you are planning to start school in June or July, you will need to attend Summer School Orientation. Summer School Orientation Registration will open in February in your application status portal.

Orientation Step 2: On Your Orientation Day

Listen to information from key departments on campus and ask any questions you may have.

Register for your fall classes through Banner Self Service following your advising appointment.

Visit the Solution Center to take your ID photo, and pick your ID up at Orientation Check-Out.
