The Department of Music became an All-Steinway School in 2007, ensuring that our students have access to the highest quality pianos during their studies.

Facilities

Students in the department take classes, lessons, and rehearse primarily in Maxine Couch Davis Hall, a comprehensive building with choral and instrumental rehearsal rooms, faculty studios, a computer lab, a music technology suite, and LeBaron Recital Hall. Recently renovated, the recital hall is the main performance venue for solo, small chamber, and choral concerts and recitals.

Students also perform in Palmer Auditorium, a beautiful 1200-seat venue where the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble frequently play.
