Overview

UM’s Finance program can provide the knowledge you need to keep your business venture (or anyone else’s) in the black. Our curriculum puts a strong emphasis on the principles of business finance, financial statement analysis, financial markets and institutions, investments, derivatives in risk management, and sound financial decision-making. Our security trading training provides students with hands on practice in real world trading.

Degree/Course Requirements

Develop the essential skills every data-informed leader needs: critical thinking, written and oral communication, scientific reasoning, global awareness, and artistic expression.

Build a solid foundation in business principles and management practices to support decision-making through data. Courses include:

Our Finance programs prepare students with a strong foundation in financial analysis, markets, and decision-making skills needed for careers in banking, corporate finance, investments, and related fields. Courses include:
