About

Dr. Jim Vickrey served as the president of the University of Montevallo from 1977 to 1988.

He established the James F. Vickrey Scholarship, which is awarded to entering freshmen or upperclassmen from the Montgomery area who have an outstanding academic record and demonstrate leadership in school activities.
