Thanks and Recognition

Every gift to the University of Montevallo Foundation is appreciated and helps us provide support and opportunities to the students, faculty, and staff “on the bricks.” Your donations have a lasting impact and are vital to the success of the University and all who call it home.

The University of Montevallo Foundation recognizes annual and cumulative giving through appreciation levels as follows:

Annual: October 1 – September 30

Level	Donation Amount
President’s Circle	Donors who annually give a total of $5,000 to $9,999.
King House Society	Donors who annually give a total of $10,000 and above.
Flower Hill Society	10 or more consecutive years of giving at any annual level.

Perpetual:

Level	Donation Amount
Red Brick Society	Donors who cumulatively have given $25,000 to $99,999.99.
Palmer Society	Donors who cumulatively have given $100,000 to $499,999.99.
Reynolds Society	Donors who cumulatively have given $500,000 to $999,999.99
Montevallo Society	Donors who have given more than $1 million over their lifetime.
1896 Society	Donors who have made the University of Montevallo Foundation a planned gift through their estate.

Recognition is based on cash gifts, pledge payments, matching gift cash gifts, and in-kind gifts.

Donors who are members of the same household will be recognized together unless they tell the Foundation in writing that they want separate recognition.

Donors who wish for their gifts to remain anonymous must notify the Foundation in writing. Anonymous donors will receive no public recognition of gifts made either that fiscal year or future gifts unless the Foundation is notified in writing; however, they will receive other recognition – like event invitations and preferred seating at college night – appropriate to their giving level.

Donors who make multi-year pledges of $25,000 or higher will be recognized as a member of a permanent giving society after the pledge is paid in full; in the meantime, we will recognize their pledge payments as annual gifts.
