University of Montevallo Invites Prospective Students to Participate in Free App Week and Preview Day

February 13, 2025

The University of Montevallo is excited to participate in Free App Week once again and offer high school and transfer students an opportunity to explore life on the bricks by attending its upcoming Spring Preview Day on March 8.

During Free App Week — Monday, Feb. 24 to Friday, Feb. 28 — you can apply for most programs online at montevallo.edu without any application fees, allowing you to take a step toward your future without financial barriers.

Come experience a day as a Falcon at Preview Day, an in-person open house event designed to give you a true taste of what it’s like to be a Montevallo student.

Representatives from the offices of Admissions, Student Aid, Student Life and Housing will be present to provide valuable information and answer all your questions. You’ll also have a chance to meet your future professors at the academic interest sessions that will be offered for each major.

Get a glimpse of where you’ll be living, learning and making lifelong memories on a guided tour with our Montevallo Mavens. As you walk the bricks, you’ll get to check out residence halls, the coolest hangout spots on campus, state-of-the-art learning spaces and more. Come see for yourself why UM was named one of the South’s most beautiful campuses by Southern Living magazine.

U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges rankings and was named the safest college campus in central Alabama according to Niche.com’s 2025 Safest College Campuses in Alabama rankings.
