Overview

At the University of Montevallo’s Michael E. Stephens College of Business, our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Data Analytics uniquely blends the technical rigor of data analytics with the human-centered depth of a liberal arts education. This program prepares students to lead in a world increasingly shaped by data-driven decision making, while also cultivating the critical thinking, communication, and ethical reasoning essential for impactful leadership in business and society.

Develop the essential skills every data-informed leader needs: critical thinking, written and oral communication, scientific reasoning, global awareness, and artistic expression.

Gain deep expertise in data acquisition, analysis, visualization, and predictive modeling using industry-relevant tools and programming languages. The curriculum is designed to be practical, hands-on, and aligned with employer needs. Courses include:
