Montevallo continues to rank among top institutions in Alabama

November 3, 2021

Once again, the University of Montevallo has been named one of the top institutions of higher learning in Alabama by Wallethub.com. This website recognizes those colleges and universities that provide a strong education at an affordable cost.

Recently released “2022 College and University Rankings” compared more than 1,000 colleges and universities across the nation. UM was the second-highest ranked in Alabama compared to other public and private colleges and universities across the state.

Key indicators included student selectivity, cost and financing, faculty resources, campus safety, campus experience, educational outcomes and career outcomes.

“It is a great honor to see the University of Montevallo continue to achieve such a prominent ranking among public and private institutions across the state,” said Scott Dillard, vice president of advancement and external affairs. “UM is tremendously proud of the affordability and high-quality education we provide to our students.”
