In-Person & Online Programs Available

The ONLINE modality is available for individuals working full-time as elementary school teachers or paraeducators with a school system willing to allow completion of field experience components. In the face-to-face modality, students will attend classes in the mornings and afternoons, gaining practical experience and networking in local elementary schools. The face-to-face option is designed for full-time graduate students.

Montevallo EDucATORS PARTNERSHIP

Candidates employed by eligible school systems can receive a scholarship of up to $110 per credit hour toward tuition for all program coursework.

Admissions Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2.75 GPA) or graduate degree (minimum 3.0 GPA) from regionally accredited college/university
Praxis II Elementary Education: ThreeSubject Bundle*
Teaching Education Program Interview
Fingerprint/background clearance

*Minimum GPA of 2.0 allowed with a corresponding
higher Praxis II score.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS DEGREE?

Courses in this program are offered in a face-to-face format during the mornings and afternoons. This enables candidates to gain four semesters of practical, professional experience and network
in local, public elementary schools. Specifically, this program is designed to meet the needs of full-time graduate students.
