Emma Cole, DBA

Dr. Emma Cole is an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Montevallo. She earned a BSBA in Accounting from Auburn University, an MBA with an Accounting Concentration from Troy University, and a DBA with an Accounting focus from Creighton University. Dr. Cole teaches both undergraduate and graduate accounting courses. Her research interests include managerial accounting, taxation, ethics, data analytics, and accounting information systems.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and holds memberships in ASCPA, AICPA, AAA, IMA, NABA, and ACFE.
