Deborah Braswell, M.S.

Advisor to the Vice President of Student Affairs for Disability ServicesMs. Braswell previously held the role of Director of Disability Services at the University. She has over 30 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. She has experience with students with a wide variety of disabilities, including learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, mental health diagnoses, and sensory and attentional disorders.

Lisa Burdett, B.A.

CoordinatorLisa has experience working with individuals with disabilities. She coordinates services and accommodations for students who are Deaf/HOH, and also handles alternate format materials. She is responsible for monitoring all office budget procedures, overseeing test proctoring services, notetaking services, requests for Emotional Support Animals, and supervising AAC student workers. She handles most initial inquiries regarding services and coordinates intake appointments for all new AAC students. Ms. Burdett is a University of Montevallo graduate and has a B.A. in Psychology.
