Fraternity Life at Montevallo

IFC is the governing body of the three IFC fraternities (Alpha Kappa Lambda, Alpha Tau Omega, and Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI)) at the University of Montevallo. IFC strives to promote excellence in all areas of Fraternity/Sorority life. Each fraternity is represented on IFC by an officer and a delegate. IFC oversees fraternity recruitment in the fall.

Mission

The Interfraternity Council stands for education, commitment, and respect; an all-embracing, diverse, and interconnected organization within the tradition at the University of Montevallo.

How to Register for Fraternity Recruitment

2025 IFC Fraternity Recruitment will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 with Bid Day on Friday, September 5, 2025.

Complete and submit an application. Each fraternity is given your application, and they may contact you over the summer to come hang out and meet the guys. Applications will go live in April.
