STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY
(INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY)

Like other universities, the University of Montevallo requires international students to have an international health insurance policy prior to their arrival in the U.S. This is requirement per federal law, please refer to US government document 22 CFR 62.14 for more details.

The University of Montevallo has separate policies for athletic international students and non-athletic international students. These policies were selected by the University because the cost is low and the benefits are generous for each student group. The University does not profit from sale of these policies, and it is the student’s responsibility to become familiar with its terms and benefits. All international students must purchase the policy relevant to them. Students will be sent information regarding enrollment prior to their arrival on campus.
