The University of Montevallo welcomes applications from passionate and committed students who are interested in pursuing a quality education. The Office of Admissions reviews all undergraduate applications using a rolling decision format, with students receiving notice of the decision soon after the file is complete. Ready to fill out an application? Below are a few things to get you started.

Application Fee

The non-refundable application fee is $30. You may pay with a credit card while completing the online application, or checks can be made payable to “University of Montevallo” and mailed to the Office of Admissions.

First Time Freshman Required Documents

• Official high school transcript
• ACT or SAT test scores (optional)

Transfer Student Required Documents

• Official college transcripts from all colleges/universities attended

Know Your Deadlines

Incoming freshmen students wishing to have their application considered for merit based scholarships should apply prior to February 1.  Transfer students wishing to enroll in the fall semester should apply by June 1 for merit scholarship consideration.

Admission Application Priority Dates:

• Fall Term Application Deadline: August 15
• Spring Term Application Deadline: December 1
• Summer Term Application Deadline: May 1
