Join the Vallo Volunteers!

The Vallo Volunteers program at the University of Montevallo finds valuable community service opportunities for students while they pursue their educational goals. The Office of Engaged Education & Public Service will help you partner with local schools, churches, non-profits, businesses, and civic groups throughout our community.

Our office seeks to build an army of student volunteers for this program so that we can offer students a chance to engage with and give back to our local communities outside of the classroom. This program also comes with the added benefits of keeping track of your community service hours, providing proof of service hours for any official educational or professional needs, and the opportunity to earn a service learning designation and cord at the time of graduation.

If you or your group want to be considered for any upcoming projects, events, or on-going opportunities for service, please contact Joyce Jones, Director of Engaged Education and Public Serviceat eeps@montevallo.edu or call 205-665-6077 for more information.
