Dr. Erica Lee

Dr. Erica Lee is an Assistant Professor of Collaborative Education. She earned a B.S. in Collaborative Education from Birmingham-Southern College, an MAEd in Early Childhood Special Education from UAB, an Ed.S. in Autism Spectrum Disorders from UAB, and a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from UAB. She holds six active teaching certifications ranging from birth through age 21 in general and special education settings. Dr. Lee’s research focuses on social-emotional learning and evidence-based practices for students with emotional and behavioral disorders in inclusive classrooms. As a former special education teacher and department head, she spent a decade as a practitioner in the field and now has the opportunity to help prepare the next generation of educators to serve all students in inclusive settings.
