UM’s Educational Leadership Ed.D. links theory with systematic inquiry to better position graduates to address complex issues of practice, shape organizational culture, promote sustainable solutions and build capacity to lead change across organizations. Transcript Review

The doctoral program in Educational Leadership is a total of 60 credit hours. Students may apply select credit from their Educational Specialist program based on a pre-admission transcript review. To begin the transcript review process, please submit your Ed.D. application and select “yes” in the section asking if you are interested in transfer credit.

Tuition and Fees

The Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership is NOT included in the Montevallo Educators’ Partnership (MEP). Tuition: $498 per credit hour, plus books and fees

Master’s degree in education or related field from an accredited institution

Three professional recommendations, including one from a current supervisor
