Whether you are a student, employee, or community member, the University of Montevallo wants to hear from you about issues that affect the safety of our campus and well-being of our students. The information you provide is important to this process. Situations to report could include a friend is struggling with a mental health issue, someone is having a difficult time managing stress, a student is threatening another individual, or an allegation of a policy violation. If it is out of the ordinary and causes you concern or alarm, make a report.

All reports will be viewed by a team of discreet professionals including staff from Counseling, Student Conduct, Student Success and the Vice President for Student Affairs. Once a report is filed, the appropriate party will investigate and when necessary, follow-up. Please note, due to federal privacy laws (FERPA) you may not be privy to any action taken from a report.

Please know we review all reports submitted and a staff member will ensure it ends with the correct team to provide the most support for that student.
