About Us

The Solution Center is the University’s central help desk, providing fast, reliable support for campus technology and account needs. We assist students, faculty, and staff with everyday tech issues to keep you connected and supported.

You can submit a ticket through our ticketing system, KACE, or by emailing solutioncenter@montevallo.edu with a full description of your request and contact information.

Services We Offer

Our staff provides support for a wide range of technology needs, including:

  • General computing questions
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Email setup, access, and support
  • Username and password assistance
  • Classroom and computer lab technical support
  • Network connectivity and printer issues
  • Student and Employee ID card services
  • Loaner technology checkout

Note: We are unable to repair personal devices not owned by the University of Montevallo.

Classes in Session

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Classes Not in Session

Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
