Vestavia Hills High School science teacher and University of Montevallo alumna Jennifer Brown is Alabama’s Teacher of the Year for 2015-16, the state’s Department of Education announced Wednesday night at a ceremony in Montgomery.
Brown will serve as the official spokesperson and representative for teachers in Alabama for the next year.
