University of Montevallo appointment - Payne-Rockco

MONTEVALLO—Tracy Payne-Rockco has been named Director of Alumni Affairs at the University of Montevallo. She will oversee all activities and programs related to alumni of the university.

Payne-Rockco, a member of the UM staff since 1999, has served as director of the McNair Scholars Program since 2003 and was the student development coordinator for the university’s Upward Bound Program for four years prior.

Payne-Rockco earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in education from the University of Montevallo. She received the Ph.D. in education from the University of Alabama.
