From the Shelby County Reporter: The University of Montevallo accepted a $298,000 check for Shelby Academy scholarships from donor Martha Eisenberg on Jan. 3.
The check was funded from the liquidation of Shelby Academy, and was presented by Eisenberg to UM President Dr. John W. Stewart III on the steps of Calkins Hall on the university campus.
The University of Montevallo will be hosting a single-day ACT Prep Course for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The purpose of this course is to equip students with test-taking strategies to enable them to be better prepared for the ACT. “During this course, we provide students the […]
