Alumnus Perspective
My time working for Montage as the Lead Writer and Copy Editor (2016-17) and the Editor in Chief (2017-19) was an extension of this experience, as I recorded moments of celebration for my peers in their own terms and spaces. In documenting milestones like tournaments, NPHC probates, culminating performances and exhibitions, and annual campus traditions, I was able to capture those vignettes for archival posterity as well as expanding my own personal conception of what—and who—the University of Montevallo truly is. – Erica Lewis ’19, B.A. double major in Art and English
