The Montevallo Development Cooperative District, formed by Shelby County, the City of Montevallo and the University of Montevallo, will officially open the newly renovated University of Montevallo on Main, which will house much of UM’s Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Speakers will be Alex Dudchock, county manager; Hollie Cost, mayor of the City of Montevallo; and Dr. John Stewart, president of the University of Montevallo.
