Miss Carnation Pageant at the University of Montevallo

MONTEVALLO—The Kappa Chi chapter of Phi Mu sorority at the University of Montevallo will host the Miss Carnation Pageant Saturday, Oct. 25, in Palmer Auditorium on the UM campus beginning at 1 p.m. All proceeds from this event will go directly to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Girls will compete in four age divisions: elementary school (Little Miss), middle school (Junior Miss) high school (Senior Miss) and University of Montevallo (Miss). The competition will include a beauty walk, casual wear, most photogenic and people’s choice.

T-shirts will be available for purchase at a cost of $12 each. Admission is $5 for adults (18 and over) $3 for children (7-17). Children 6 and under will be admitted free of charge. Tickets for college students will be $3 pre-sale and $5 at the door. All tickets include one free prize entry, and tickets for additional opportunities to win may be purchased for $1 each.
