Mass Communication students work as reporters with Alabama's 13

On Sunday, Sept. 28, four UM Mass Communication students had the opportunity to spend the day working as reporters with Alabama’s 13 to cover the Magic City Miracle volunteer efforts throughout downtown Birmingham.

Students spent the day covering various events, and then received professional feedback from Alabama’s 13 reporters as they crafted their stories for a webcast. The students from UM also had the opportunity to meet journalism students from the University of Alabama, who were also a part of the webcast.
