MONTEVALLO—The University of Montevallo recently announced the names of Montevallo Masters for the 2013-2014 academic year. Montevallo Masters exemplify leadership and are the official hosts and hostesses of the university, representing UM at such functions as Founders’ Day, commencement, receptions, tours and many homecoming events.
Included in this group of UM ambassadors are Rebecca Leach of Madison, Ondrea Lee of New Market and Katlyn Watson of Huntsville.
The University of Montevallo Minorities Achieving Dreams of Excellence (M.A.D.E.) program will host “Building Barrier Breakers,” a community event with the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama (¡HICA!) and the Jefferson State Community College Latino Association, on Tuesday, April 4 at the Jefferson State Community College campus in Hoover.
