Huntsville student selected as editor of The Tower

Ryann Taylor was recently selected as editor of The Tower

Ryann Taylor, a University of Montevallo student from Huntsville, was recently selected as The Tower’s editor-in-chief.  

Taylor is an English major and an upcoming senior at the University. In addition to her new position with The Tower, she is an active member of Chi Omega Sorority, the Montevallo Honors Program, Golden Key, Montevallo College Democrats, Model UN and College Night as a proud Gold.  

“I’m thrilled I get to see the artistic efforts of other students at Montevallo, and I’m honored I have the opportunity to edit and be a part of their process,” said Taylor. “I am most excited about selecting the pieces that will represent the University’s artistic community and experiences, and I cannot wait to get started.” 

The Tower is the student literary and arts magazine at the University of Montevallo. It welcomes creative works of all types from students across campus. It has been the campus arts magazine since 1932 and is published by students under the direction of student editors. This publication is distributed free to students, and students are encouraged to apply for staff positions.
