Senior English and art major Erica Lewis will lead the student yearbook, the Montage, for the second consecutive year.

“Montage,” UM’s yearbook since 1907, provides a complete annual history, primarily in pictorial form, of the University, representing the personality of the school and its students. This idea is best reflected in the yearbook’s motto: “It’s not just a book; it’s our legacy.”

Lewis, who is entering her senior year at the University, is a double major in English and art.

In addition to providing the overall vision for the book, she will be coordinating deadlines, managing student staff, conduct meetings, editing content and providing input on photos and layouts.

Beyond her position with the yearbook, Lewis is also a tutor at the University’s Learning Enrichment Center and served as the co-layout editor for The Tower, the campus literary and arts magazine. Lewis has also volunteered time socializing service dogs.

“I am incredibly excited to begin this next year with ‘Montage.’ I feel that I have much to improve upon my performance this past year, and I anticipate the opportunity to do so,” said Lewis. “I also feel that the other editors and myself will create more opportunities for collaboration between the publications as well as forging a more prevalent presence on campus.”
