The Department of Music is excited to introduce a cutting-edge Music Technology concentration and minor, aligning our curriculum with the demands of the 21st-century music industry.
This forward-thinking program will immerse our UM students in audio production, recording and the fusion of technology with musical creativity. We aim to establish two state-of-the-art spaces — a mid-size recording studio and an additional studio lab/mixing studio in Davis Hall, the music building — to provide hands-on training for our aspiring musicians.
