This celebration occurs annually from September 15^th to October 15^th. This year, in conjunction with Constitution Day, we will be celebrating the right to free speech. We will host Mr. David Romero on Tuesday, September 19^th @ 6 p.m. in the Farmer Hall Meeting Room.

David A. Romero is a Mexican-American spoken word artist from Diamond Bar, CA. David A. Romero is the second poet to be featured on All Def Digital, a YouTube channel from Def Jam Recordings founder Russell Simmons. His work has been published alongside San Francisco poet laureates Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Jack Hirschman and Alejandro Murguía. Romero has received honorariums for his performances and poetry workshops at numerous colleges and universities.
