Current or prospective students are invited to contact DSS staff to with questions about services and accommodations, or regarding documentation guidelines. Students should note there are important priority deadlines for certain types of services and those can be found under the Priority Deadlines link. If a student expects to have multiple or complex accommodations or auxiliary aids, which could include sign language interpreting, real-time captioning services, closed captioning, Braille, or specialized technology, 4-6 months before enrollment is ideal. Specialized housing accommodations, such as flashing fire alarms, first floor or private rooms, or wheelchair accessible bathrooms, have priority deadlines that allow DSS and Housing to make appropriate arrangements prior to assignments being made.
