Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment will be held August 25-27, 2017. The cost to participate in Sorority Recruitment is $30. This may be paid when you register at the link below.
IFC Fraternity Recruitment will be held September 5th-8th.
How to register: Complete and turn in an application. There is no cost to participate in fraternity recruitment. Each fraternity is given your application, and they may contact you over the summer to come hang out and meet the guys. The sooner you get your application in the better! You may deliver your application to the Student Life Office which is located in Farmer Hall on the 2nd floor or mail it to: Student Life- IFC Recruitment, University of Montevallo, Station 6565 Montevallo, AL 35115 Applications may also be signed, scanned and emailed to email@example.com
National Pan-Hellenic Council
Two sessions of the NPHC Prospective New Member Program will be held this fall on September 6th at 3:30 p.m. and September 15th at 3 p.m. Students may sign up to attend in the Student Life Office on the 2nd Floor of Farmer Hall.
Membership Intake is the process of selection, education, and initiating new members into chapter. The process begins with an informational meeting which can be held in the Spring or Fall. Most of these informational meetings are advertised before the meeting through flyers around campus and by word of mouth from members. Undergraduate students who wish to affiliate with chapters must meet specific membership qualifications. Specific requirements vary by organization. These minimum standards include: academic achievement (GPA is set by the national organization and/or UM), community service, good character, must be enrolled as a full time student, and must have earned at least 12 semester hours (some groups may require the completion of more hours but 12 is the minimum.
