Advanced Rider Course (ARC)

Course Overview

The Advanced Rider Course (ARC) is the next step in Rider Education and Training and is designed for proficient and experienced motorcycle riders. This course is approximate 8 hours in length, and is for further developing your rider self assessment, risk management, rider behavior, riding strategies, and overall skill development, particularly in braking, cornering and swerving procedures and techniques. The course hours are schedule for Saturday from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. It consists of classroom instruction and riding skills exercises. Operators must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must bring a valid driver license with motorcycle endorsement (class M). Operators must provide a street-legal motorcycle which must pass an inspection by the RiderCoaches. A T-CLOCS inspection, including tires/wheels, controls, lights, oil/other fluids, stands will be completed during the curriculum. Protective riding gear requirements for this course will be provided in the pre-course registration confirmation package. Motorcycles must be properly insured as ATSC/AMSP insurance does not cover damage to motorcycles or passengers during this course (proof is required prior to class start time). By completing this course you may be eligible for an insurance discount. Please check with your insurance company to verify.
