Guest Artist Daniel Szasz, violin; Alina Voicu, piano
Szasz’s recital features the music of Luis Benejam, UM Professor of Music and Composer-in-residence 1960-1968, as well as other chamber works from the violin repertoire. Active as a concert soloist, chamber musician, and recitalist, Szasz is concertmaster of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. Brazilian pianist Dr. Alessandra Feris, Assistant Professor of Piano at the University of South Dakota, will present guest solo recital featuring Latin-American composers’ works.
