  • Available to Family and Consumer Sciences majors from Houston, Dale or Henry counties only.
  • Financial need considered.
  • Deadline: March 1

Dr. Barbara Fite Scholarship in FCS Education 

  • $2,000. Available to junior Family and Consumer Sciences Education majors only; renewable.
  • Deadline: March 1

Comer Foundation Scholarship in Family and Consumer Sciences

  • Amount varies; renewable for four years.
  • Available only to incoming in-state freshmen with financial need; renewable.
  • Deadline: March 1

Dorothy Tarpley Holmes Scholarship in Family and Consumer Sciences

  • Amount varies.
  • Available to Family and Consumer Sciences majors from Etowah County only.
