Summer 2020 Online Training

Registration for Summer 2020 Online Training

All faculty members who have not previously completed the Teaching Effectively Online certification program offered through the Malone Center or the Quality Matters Teaching Online Certificate are asked to complete online teaching training prior to the start of the Fall 2020 term.

The Foundations of Online Instruction course will provide the foundational skills necessary to develop online course materials in keeping with research-backed best practices and regulatory policies. This training consists of three modules: Best Practices, Policies, and Building Your Course. The first two modules can be completed in less than a day, but the final module may take up to a week or more. You will be provided with a 3-week window to complete the course.
