Traditional Programs in Education

Traditional MEd (Currently holds Class B certification in a teaching field, leading to Class A certification in the same teaching field)

MEd in Instructional Leadership (Currently holds Class B certification in a teaching field, leading to Class A certification in Instructional Leadership)

Reduced Hour Option in Instructional Leadership (Currently holds Class A certification in a teaching field, leading to Class A certification in Instructional Leadership)

Educational Specialist (Currently holds Class A certification, leading to Class AA certification in Instructional Leadership or Teacher Leadership)

MEd in School Counseling:

  • Traditional MEd (Currently holds Class B certification in a teaching field, leading to Class A certification in school counseling)
  • CACREP approach (Currently holds no certification, leading to Class A certification in school counseling)

Students applying to the Alternative MEd program must be evaluated by Teacher Education Services before admission to the graduate program.
