Dr. Monica Lewis received her BS in Chemistry from Alabama State University and her PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She was an IRACDA-MERIT (Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Award-Mentored Experiences in Research, Instruction, and Teaching) postdoctoral scholar at UAB before she joined the Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics as an Instructor of Biology in 2019.
