Virginia "Lee" Bare (psychology)

Dr. Lee Bare earned her Ph.D. in Clinical-Child Psychology from the University of Alabama.  She received an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Western Carolina University and a B.A. in German from Davidson College.  She has been in private practice as a licensed psychologist in Birmingham, working with children, adolescents, and adults.   As part of her doctoral training, Dr. Bare also completed a year-long Pediatric Psychology Internship at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. She has worked in medical and private practices in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Asheville and Morganton, North Carolina.

Dr. Bare’s teaching focuses on clinical psychology courses, including Child Psychopathology, Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Psychological Testing, Psychopathology, Clinical Techniques, and others.
