Jun Wang, Ph.D.

Dr. Wang is Associate Professor of Finance in the Stephens College of Business at the University of Montevallo. He currently teaches Business Finance, Investments, Money and Banking, Futures and Options, Sport Finance, Financial Information Systems, and Finance Research. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Alabama, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Before joining the University of Montevallo, Dr. Wang taught at the University of North Georgia, the University of Minnesota at Duluth, and Missouri Western State University. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Wang was an equity and derivatives trader in China, and a financial analyst at SouthTrust Bank. Dr. Wang loves teaching and research and has published six articles at  Journal of Investing, Journal of Trading, Journal of Risk Finance, etc.
