The communications team of UR
supports the mission of the University of Montevallo by:
providing services to assist the campus in clearly and concisely projecting the University's core values, attributes
maintaining the front page and news pages on the website along with the official University social media sites;
overseeing external communication to ensure branding standards are met;
coordinating communications with the media and, in conjunction with the UMPD, executing the University’s Emergency Communication Plan.
We strive to offer the latest updates and accomplishments of UM students, faculty, alumni and campus programs. This information is distributed via press releases, available on the UM website and sent to local media. To request coverage, please submit request.

We manage all University-wide social media accounts. We are available tooffer guidance regarding the specific social platforms that might best fit your needs and discuss the ways you can amplify your message via those platforms.
