In a continued effort to promote a safe and healthy campus, the University will be offering free COVID-19 testing for all faculty and staff on Thursday, Aug. 27, at the McChesney Student Activity Center.
Testing will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and employees will need to present their UM ID card. Only individuals who receive a positive test result will be notified after testing.
Testing is open only to asymptomatic individuals. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should contact their personal health care provider.
The free testing session is not a requirement for faculty and staff, and is being offered to UM employees by the University as a supplement to the other measures it is taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus.
