Special Services
Special services provided by the Physical Plant include:
• Moving/removal of large items such as furniture
• Event setup
These requests are made using SchoolDude, the Physical Plant’s maintenance work order system, by clicking the button above. They are charged and paid for after the event.
Event setup services include folding chair rental, 6’ folding table rental, 20’x20′ tent rental, and relocating picnic tables. While we do provide setup services for the tents, we do not set up tables and chairs. The charges incurred for tables and chairs are for delivery labor only (setup and takedown not provided).
Event setup items may only be reserved by and for University organization events, and may only be used on University property. These items are not to be transported by anyone other than Physical Plant employees, and any loss or damage to the items will incur further charges. At the end of your event, tables and chairs should be taken down and stacked in the manner in which they were delivered.
These event setup items are reserved on a first come first serve basis, and a one-week notice is required.
The custodial department can also provide services surrounding your event, charged at an overtime rate.
