Each University of Montevallo student is required to obtain an official ID card that displays the student’s photograph. The card is required to use the library and take advantage of the services and activities at the University. Students should visit the Solution Center in Carmichael Library to obtain a UM ID card or email the SolutionCenter@montevallo.edu. Please have a government issued ID with you for verification.
Students are to carry their cards at all times and present them for identification when requested by University officials. Student ID cards are intended for student use only. Loss or theft of cards should be reported to the Solution Center (this can be done through the GET app) and to the Police Department. A student who uses the ID card in an illegal manner will be subject to disciplinary action.
