Students are invited to engage in research, scholarship, and creative activity with faculty mentors through Undergraduate Research, for which they may receive academic credit. It is the aim of the program to:
involve students in their own learning,
develop teamwork and pride,
enhance interdisciplinary learning,
and share in the exhilaration of discovery.
Special events are held each year to enable students to
celebrate their research, scholarship, and creative activity
with the broader academic community, even if they have not enrolled for or
completed an UR project for academic credit. For the academic year
