The department offers a Kinesiology major with two concentrations: Teacher Preparation, which is designed for those who plan to teach physical education, and Health Promotion, which is designed to allow one to pursue a variety of areas related to physical activity and sport.
General Education
Health/Wellness (KNES 117) and 1 credit hour of activity courses are required.
Major
The Bachelors degree is offered in Kinesiology. The two concentrations are Teacher Certification and Health Promotion.

Minor
A non-teaching minor with a minimum of 18 hours in Kinesiology is available. Students should confer with the department chair of Kinesiology for more information.
