Applications for Certification

August 2013

 

All education students (undergraduate and graduate) graduating (or completing certification) August, 2013 should apply for certification with the Office of Teacher Education Services no later than Monday, July 1, 2013 by 4:30 p.m.

 

Please note that all applications for certification must be processed through the TES office since the University is the recommending institution.  Students should not send applications directly to the State Department of Education.  Submit forms to the Teacher Education Services office in Wills Hall 207.

        Please print and complete pages one and two only.  Do not print or complete page three (this page

        is completed by the TES office).

   

Verification of degree forms are also available and may be picked up in the TES office.  Additionally, you must provide a self-address-stamped envelope (standard letter size) for us to return the form to you after the certification processing is complete.

 

Please note that verification of degrees will not be released to students until all certification is verified and complete by the TES office and ready to be sent to the Alabama State Department of Education, which is usually within a few business days following graduation.
